Rev. Tiate Carson

“A man after God’s own heart – 1 Samuel 13:14”

Reverend Tiate Carson is a gifted preacher and teacher who has ministered throughout the United States and abroad. His ministry brings a radically relevant message of salvation, social responsibility, personal integrity, and spiritual transformation, through Christ-centered teaching and preaching and a radical passion to reach the lost.

Reverend Carson was born and raised in Detroit, MI and is the only son of Elder Eugene (a retired auto worker) and Pastor Janice Carson (a retired teacher) of Greater Works Christian Ministries in Detroit. He has one sister, Minister Sharice Blalock and brother-in-law LeVar who reside in Michigan. Reverend Carson is happily married to Reverend Arlise S. Carson, a native of Portsmouth, VA, who serves with him in ministry and also works in educational administration in Brooklyn, NY. The Carsons have two beautiful young daughters Bria and Imani.

Reverend Carson graduated from North Carolina A&T State University in 1997 with a B.S. degree in Accounting. In December of 2001, he received his Master of Divinity degree with a concentration in Greek New Testament Biblical Studies from the Interdenominational Theological Center (ITC) in Atlanta, GA.

Reverend Carson has been in ministry since 1996. He has served as a College Ministry President, Youth Pastor, Minister to Young Adults, and Senior Pastor of churches in Greensboro, NC, Detroit, MI, Atlanta, GA, Jamaica, NY, San Antonio, TX, and Austin, TX. He currently serves as the Minister of Stewardship & Development at The Greater Allen A.M.E. Cathedral of N.Y. under the leadership of the Rev. Dr.’s Floyd and Elaine Flake. He also serves as Minister to Men and Worship Facilitator. He has been a voice at numerous conferences for men, youth, families, singles, and married couples.

More important than any of the above, Reverend Carson is “a man that seeks after the very heart of God, lives a life of integrity, serves with the passion and compassion of Christ, and is driven by the Spirit of God.”
